Chef Danyardee

Howdy Ya'll!!
As you may have read from my previous post (please read if you haven't) Daniel has caught the cooking bug. He is in the kitchen tearing up those pink pots and pans like there is no tomorrow! It is TOO funny! Yesterday was the moment of truth because he tried to cook something from scratch- Chicken Wings of course! It was the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. Daniel, pink, kitchen apron, and raw chicken! I have never been more attracted to him in my life! Haha! He made the sauce, he fried the chicken wings, AND he baked them to make them a little extra crispy. I was skeptical but boy were they AMAZING! Totally outdid the pigs in a blanket I cooked for dinner. So here are some photos of this candid moment as I wouldn't want ANYONE to miss what I got to spend the afternoon with- Chef Danyardee!

Bon Appetit!!!

Oh and here is a couple random tid bits: while we were in Sedona for the honeymoon (fabulous) we ate at this amazing place called Ken's Creekside Restaurant for breakfast. Not only was it the best meal EVER- our waiter told us that Reggis comes in once every couple months for a piece of their cobbler (without his wife.. dun dun dun)! Ha! Anywho, the waiter bought one for us and it was AMAZING. Here is a pic of us there.

And finally. It hits home- weirder than referring to Daniel as my husband- was doing this for the very first time. This was the morning after the wedding and I was able to sign a giftcard receipt with this!!!!!!!!!! How exciting!!

thank you for everything

Aside from the fact I am so appreciative that you let me use your girls in the wedding I am so thankful for every ones help to make my and Daniels wedding so amazing. So here is a long email of thanks!!! Be patient I am sure you're in here somewhere!!!

1) THANK YOU Momma Collins!: mom, I will NEVER-EVER be able to express to you how perfect you made everything for us. I know how much you stressed out to make sure every detail down to the place settings were beautiful. You worked so hard to make me and Daniel happy. It was more than I could have EVER asked for and even more wonderful than I imagined it could be. I love you so much and I am so appreciative to have such a thoughtful mother! Thank you!!!!!!! Oh and tell Daddy thank you, too! I will remember our first dance (ever) perfectly for the rest of my life. And I will always be his little girl!

2) THANK YOU Momma Opfel!: momma Opfel (can I call you mom now?), thank you so much for helping my family and us with the wedding!! Perry was AMAZING and so patient with me and Daniel! Thank you SO much for helping us pay for some of wedding!! It really wouldn't have been able to happen like it did without your help! Thank you so much for the beautiful quilt set and albums! But more importantly thank you for letting me be apart of the Opfel family I've grown to love so much!!!!

3) THANK YOU Ginger!: Ginger, you are the greatest! I can't even begin to tell you how many phone calls/text messages I received about the "adorable bridal shower invitations!" Thank you SO SO SO much for the wedding invitations, the bridal shower invitations, the bridal shower, and the amazing pink pots & pans that Daniel has already used more than I have! It's an understatement to say that you helped make this wedding!! Thank you!!!!

4) Sarahbeth/ Carey (If you are in the blogging world)!: Thank you for the best reception ever! Not only did everything look beautiful but I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciated all the hard work that went into putting all that together for us!! It was amazing! There will never be a good enough way to let you know how much I appreciated your generous contributions to our wedding! And as I said the pink pots & pans are a hit! Daniel can't keep his girly-color loving fingers off of them! Thank you!!!!!!

5)THANK YOU Becky!: First of all can I just say that little Mylie in that dress was the cutest thing- EVER! But secondly and most importantly thank you so much for helping us find services for the wedding! You were the very first person to start helping plan the wedding with budget excel spread sheets to photographers all the way to helping me find flower girl dresses! Thank you so much for being so involved and so willing to help plan our special day! Thank you!!!!

6)THANK YOU Katy!: So you might have thought you hardly contributed to the wedding but I assure you that you did in a big way! Daniel and I were so happy you took the time (and paid the money) to fly down from Alaska to make it to the wedding!! I know you hit some bumps getting to AZ and arrived just in time but we were SOOOOOO happy to see you and very grateful you were able to be there! So thank you!!!!

7)THANK YOU Ned and Ben: for being two of Daniel's groomsmen! Ben, your speech was, well, lets just say it was stellar! And the dance moves- well indescribable to say the least! Ned, thanks for so generously walking my very pregnant sister down the isle as I think you're the only one I trust to do it because one stumble could have meant serious trouble! So thank you guys!!!

8)THANK YOU Lindsay, Lizzy, Melissa, and Amie: you ladies were the absolute most PERFECT bridesmaids I could have asked for!! Lindsay thank you so much for being a wonderful maid of honor and planning what I believe to be the best bachelorette party in history!! And thanks baby Jaxon for being at my wedding even if he'll never remember he was there! Thank you Lizzy for investing time and money in making my bachelorette party, wedding, and all the in between so perfect! From dress shopping to wedding nightmares you were always there! Thank you!! Melissa, you nerd! Thanks for helping me cut a million wedding photos and stuff envelopes. Even though you complained the whole time *wink! I know you loved it! And thank you Amie for being so supportive of mine and Daniels love from Day one!! I remember you supporting our marriage before we were ever engaged (you know what I mean)! You are the best! SO Thank you ladies!!!!!

9)THANK YOU Annie: Annie, oh my gosh you are so amazing!! Thank you for so patiently waiting while we tried to gather the Opfel family! It was almost comical! Thank you so much for taking the time to come out to the wedding and take what I hope will turn out to be beautiful photos!! You were so easy going and I will always be grateful to you for capturing the happiest day of my life. You were wonderful and I don't know what we would have done without you there! Thank you!!!!

10)THANK YOU Perry!: Perry you are the man! Ha! I am kidding but seriously you were so professional and never treated us like we weren't important. The reception/date video was such a hit and needless to say Daniel and I loved it!!! It truly is one of the best parts of the wedding for us!! Daniel keeps asking me when we are getting the video- I think he is more excited about that than the fact we were married! Ha! So thank you!!!!

11)THANK YOU Bishop Quick!: Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule (and missing a ward party) to come down to phoenix to marry us. The ceremony was great and I was so thankful that you would be apart of our special day. And so the black and white version is that it wouldn't and couldn't have happened without you so thank you so much!!!!

12)THANK YOU Daniel: So I can't go without thanking Daniel! Throughout this entire engagement he was so patient with me! There were definitely times when I thought I was going to loose my mind but Daniel always kept me looking at the end picture. We didn't always agree on everything but he was always willing to compromise. I will forever and always be grateful that Daniel asked me to be his wife. Words cannot describe how honored I am that someone like Daniel who is so smart, funny, understanding, supportive, and not to mention "extremely good looking" would decide to spend the rest of their life with me. Thank you, Daniel. I love you!!!!

I hope I didn't miss anyone! It's hard not to when so many people helped make this day so very special!! So if I forgot you it is not intentional I assure you! So this is a BIG thank you to everyone who helped, attended, or sent their best wishes our way with cards, gifts, and more! Couldn't have been a more perfect day!! Here are some pictures for everyone!!:

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
