THESE OPFELS HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU!
We are SOOOOOOOOO excited to be expecting our first baby due on Valentines day 2010!! We've known for a few weeks but wanted to keep it secret until we saw a doctor! Today was our first prenatal appointment and we are beyond words! We are exactly 8 weeks today :o) and although we didn't get to hear it, we were able to see our little baby heart beat pounding away at 162 beats a minute!! I started a journal for the baby when I found out and I write to sweet pea (I hate saying "it" so we'll call "it" sweet pea) everyday! So excited! Pregnancy has been kind of MORE than I expected! I have had morning sickness, hot flashes, irritability, and extreme fatigue BUT I LOVE ALL OF IT! It is a daily reminder of the miracle that has joined our lives! Can't wait until we know what it is, even though that is another 12 weeks away! Daniel insists it's a boy... we'd be happy to have anything that was happy, safe, and strong! SO here is to another Opfel!! We love sweet pea so much already!

WHAT?!?! Ah! Congrats! I'm with Paige, I got a little teary eyed :) You two will but such fun parents-- and try to have the baby on Feb.11th, lots of good people are born on that day :)
