randomness

Hello All,
So here is a bunch of randomness that is our lives right now. Daniel and I were so excited when school finally let out. Because of my recent job offer, we started looking for homes in the Flagstaff area. Little did we know in 4 short weeks we would have bought our very first house! We <3 it! I don't have pictures of it, except for this little piece of our back yard. And I mean little piece. The entire lot is 7500+sq/ft! The backyard is fantastic! We move in on the 21st! Yay!


Rushton is getting so big, it makes me sick. He's always been a fairly good sleeper but as of lately, he has been making huge strides in trying to sleep through the night. We'll have 2-4 good nights where he'll sleep from 8:30pm/9ish until 7! Yes ladies and gentleman, 7 in the morning! Then he'll have nights where he'll wake up, just for 10minutes or so and go right back to bed. He might do this 2times a night? Random. I feel grateful for him in our lives. He truly is the most fantastic addition to this family!!

Strange how no matter how frustrated, over tired, or stressed out you are... one smile... one tiny little smile can change your whole day. Rushton will do this time and time again when I first wake up in the morning. After the nights where I feel extremely sleep deprived (I'm not but I feel like I am), I am a HUGE grump. I just want to put Rush back in his room, put in ear plugs, and zone out for a couple more hours! Like a zombie I will drag myself into his room and want nothing more than to rip my hair out... and then he smiles. Dang this kid, he's going to get away with murder! I can't help but smile back and make, what I imagine are abnormal, annoying and ridiculous, cooing noises at him for the remainder of the morning. Lately Rushton has been laughing... alot. I don't mean all the time, I just mean when he gets going he'll laugh forever! I stinkin' love it. Here are a couple of videos from my phone of him laughing. I hope it works. All and all life is good. I have just been studying for boards and anxiously awaiting the start of my new job! I recently found out that are good friends Chris and Abby are staying in Flagstaff! This about made my year!! We are so excited to have some Flagstaff friends!!! I am secretly hoping that find a house right next to ours so we can raise our kids together. Abby is super fit. Daniel reminded me today that their decision to stay means that I too must get fit so I can keep up with them from here on out. Dang it, Abby. I guess I can try to retire from carne asada fries... wink!

Daniel recently received the Melchizedek Priesthood!! We are so thankful for this blessing and for the strength it has given our family! Daniel is such an amazing example and a wonderful patriarch of our home. I can't wait to see how this new Priesthood helps in raising Rush! We hope to give Rushton a baby blessing before we have to leave this ward! We love everybody so much in this ward, it seems only fitting! But, truthfully, we just want the blessing to happen. Rush is already 4 months old!! He needs a baby blessing :o) Daniel and I are also in the middle of temple prep classes!! We hope to be sealed soon!! Maybe we can do it on our wedding anniversary? That would be neat! Anyway, this is our life. Plain and simple. I wish I had more pictures but my camera broke :o( Yes, I cried, too! But hopefully I can get a new one soon enough!
