okay, maybe not so much a green thumb as brown, dirt-stained hands. daniel and I have been clearing out the garden on the side of our house. we hope to plant vegetables and flowers after the fear of the last frost passes in may. rushton thinks this is fantastic. he picks up and throws the dirt around, his favorite of which, is to throw it into his hair. I have had to learn patience since having a little boy. my girlie instincts freak out and want to stop him immediately but the adorableness that is my son always overcomes my OCD need for cleanliness. it really is true, thank god for little boys; they are precious even in mud stained clothes.
I love these pictures! Especially the ones of him only in his diaper. I love chubby babies! And yes, dirt is like a magnet for children (not just boys, my little girls loves it) and it is fun just to let them go to town in it! Clothes and children wash!
