1. I hate when paper isn't crisp and clean. If writing marks have pressed through onto the next sheet of paper, I am seriously annoyed. Or if a accidentally smudge my writing... ugh!
2. When I see someone with what I refer to as a "friendly face," I want to know them... immediately! My husband thinks this is weird. I'll go out of my way to spark a conversation. I haven't been disappointed yet.
3. I do NOT like riding in the elevator with other people. I always feel the need to make awkward conversation and end up saying something really dumb. So, more than likely you'll see me slamming my finger on the "close door" button before I hold the elevator for you.
4. I don't like cold cheese, it's gross. But give me melted cheese and I'll eat a plate. Is this even worth sharing? Ha.
5. I clean my ears EVERY time I go to the bathroom. I don't think it's OCD, more of a habit. But yes, my ears are the cleanest you'll ever see.
6. I love being a mother but I was scared to take that step for a LONG time. I never thought I'd be good at it but now I can't imagine a life without my baby boy. He is perfect and I can't wait to continue growing as a family!
7. I am pretty anal-retentive. Little things that wouldn't and SHOULDN'T bother other people, bother me in a BIG way. Ex: when the rug is stuck up under the coffee table... or the books are not arranged in biggest to smallest order. These are just a couple of examples, I have about a billion things that bother me.
8. I have very bad road rage. Mostly due in part to my horrible temper. I am a fire-cracker. Something I need to work on ;o)
9. I am NEVER-EVER bored when Daniel is around. You know how you sometimes get bored, tired, or annoyed with friends?--- Not Daniel. He always makes me laugh or smile. Even when I am getting a little irritated, he says or does something that makes me remember why we are just SO perfect for each other.
10. My family is my whole life. It is small, perfect, and lovely. My dad is my hero and my mom is my best friend. And although at times my sisters and I do not see eye-to-eye, I would be lost without their love and support.
11. I <3 fries and soda. For this reason, I will never be skinny or fit.
12. I still hold my breath, lift my feet, and make a wish when I cross railroad tracks. I figure doing so never hurt anybody and I have had plenty of success from doing so. I figure, why not?
13. I desperately want to be good at something but I find I am pretty mediocre at everything (which might be a talent unto itself). I've tried scrapbooking, crafts, painting, drawing, cooking... etc. You name it, I've tried it. I guess I'll just have to learn to be okay with being "okay" at everything.
14. I rarely laugh. This might sound sad but I never actually noticed. If you think I laugh a lot, I am probably just giving you a pity laugh. How mean, right? But seriously, I do not know why but laughing was not something I ever remember doing a ton of... in fact, I am usually working to make others laugh instead. So when I DO laugh, it's probably the funniest thing to see. I don't actually make noise, I just sit there with a big smile on my face, vibrate, and then take a big-squealed breath in before I start "laughing" again. Often times I'll cry, too. That's when you know it's genuine.
15. I really want to go on an African sufari!! I am totally obsessed with nature videos and documentaries. I figure if I get mauled by a pack of lions then at least it was a cool way to go!
16. I hate when people comment about how short I am. I don't point out your imperfections so please don't point out mine. Just because you say it like, "ohh you're sooo cute and tiny," doesn't mean that it's suddenly not offensive. How would you like it if I was like "awww, you have the cutest bird nose" or "how stinkin' cute is your muffin top?" Not cool, so don't do it.
17. I shop when I am unhappy. Yes, I realize this is NOT healthy but it makes me happy. So if I am suddenly going on a million shopping sprees, you'll know I am down in the dumps.
18. I don't like the dentist and I know I should get check ups more often but I don't. My mom really traumatized me as a kid- instilling her fears of the dentist into me. Top it off with the fact I had horrible teeth as a kid aka lots of procedures, shots, and dentist's visits... well, it's easy to see why I don't like him. And I just don't NOT like him. I hate him. I get hives, shake, and usually vomit while waiting to be seen. Ugh.
19. I can't wait to be a practicing nurse! I love people. I feel like we can all learn so much from one another. I don't care if you are a harvard grad or a homeless man, you have something to teach me. And what better time to meet people then when they are in need of support, love, and compassion? You can make the biggest impact as a nurse if you chose to love what you are doing.
20. I can't wait to see where God takes me. I feel I have had a very blessed life and I feel like I am EXACTLY where I am suppose to be. And if in 20 years I am living in a box or own an island, I will find comfort in knowing that it's all apart of the plan.

Laura! This is the cutest thing ever! I loved so many of them! I loved the one about you never really laughing and I was cracking up at the "don't point out that i'm short" one! Yay! I am so glad that you did this! You are so cute!
I love this, and the one about people commenting on how short you are. I get the opposite, a lot of people make comments on how tall I am and they will ask how tall I am. and when I say 5'10" and they argue with me as if I don't know my height.
hahaha this is so cute. i love that you only like melted cheese. you are one of a kind, so special. i love how much you love being a mommy its really inspiring
